Terms of use

The rules for using Launchpad.mn: who can use it, what you can post, how rankings, editors’ picks and sponsored placements work, and what happens when the rules are broken.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

1.These terms

Launchpad.mn is run by Unread (“we”). By using the site you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2.Who can use Launchpad.mn

  • Anyone can browse the site. To vote, comment, save products or launch, you need an account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. If you’re under 18, use it with your parent’s or guardian’s permission.
  • Use the site for yourself, or for a team or company you’re allowed to represent.

3.Your account

  • You sign in with Google. Keep that account secure: what happens under your account is your responsibility.
  • One person, one account. Don’t create extra accounts, share an account or sign in as someone else.
  • Keep your profile honest: don’t pretend to be another person or organization.

4.What you can post

  • A product you launch must work, or be an accessible beta that people can try, and you must be one of its makers or have their permission to post it.
  • Be honest about what a product does, who makes it and what it costs.
  • No spam, no misleading links, and no malware, phishing or anything else that harms visitors’ devices or data.
  • No fake or traded votes. Don’t buy, sell or swap votes, don’t vote with extra accounts or bots, and don’t organize vote rings. Ask people to try your product, not to vote for it.
  • Nothing illegal, and nothing that harasses, threatens or discriminates against anyone, invades their privacy, or infringes someone’s copyright, trademark or other rights.

5.Rankings, editors’ picks and sponsored placements

  • The community ranking orders each launch week by upvotes from verified accounts. You need to sign in to vote, an account can upvote each product once, and every account has an hourly limit on votes.
  • Editors’ picks are chosen independently by Unread’s editorial team for being original, useful and well made. They are never for sale.
  • Sponsored placements are paid. They are always labeled “Sponsored” and never affect the community ranking.

6.Moderation and removal

  • Our editors review every launch before it goes live, and may decline one without giving detailed reasons.
  • We may hide or remove content, take a launch off the site or suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts visitors at risk. Repeated or serious violations can lead to a permanent ban.
  • If you think we got something wrong, write to hello@launchpad.mn and we’ll take another look.

7.Your content

  • You keep the rights to what you post. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, copy, resize and translate it, and to feature it on Launchpad.mn and in Unread’s newsletter, social media and events (such as Unplug and DevSummit), to present your product and the platform.
  • The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared (such as a newsletter that was already sent) and for comments that stay in their threads as “Deleted user”.
  • You confirm that you have the right to post it and to grant this license.

8.Products and disclaimers

  • The products on Launchpad.mn are made by their makers, not by us. We don’t test or guarantee them: try them at your own judgment and read their own terms.
  • We provide Launchpad.mn as it is, without warranties. We work to keep it running and safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
  • To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by other people’s products, links or content.

9.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia. If a dispute can’t be settled by talking to us first, it goes to the competent court of Mongolia.

10.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site grows. We’ll post the new version here with a new date, and tell you on the site or by email about changes that matter. If you keep using the site after that, you accept them.
